Danger of Foreclosure for Mary Cosby’s House in Salt Lake City

Two pieces of news about television star Mary Cosby are circulating on social media.
One of them is the good news about her son, Robert Cosby Jr., who has completed an inpatient rehabilitation program. He and his lawyer confirmed that he had completed a substance abuse rehabilitation program in California.

Regarding this situation, Mary Cosby expressed: “Those small changes have improved our relationship because it’s building more trust, more love, and he’s learning to love me the right way, without taking advantage of me because I’m soft on him, and he knows it.”

The second piece of news refers to a report highlighting that the house owned by Mary and her husband, Robert Cosby, is at risk of entering foreclosure due to missed mortgage payments, which, according to the same report, amount to less than $100,000.

This news began when a screenshot of a court document related to the alleged foreclosure process of Mary Cosby’s home was shared on Instagram.

The report suggests that Mary has two mortgages on the property: one for $3.5 million, taken out in September 2006, and a second mortgage for $99,217, taken out in October 2008. Apparently, the smaller loan is the one causing the pre-foreclosure issue for the property.
